Today at
Warrens Hall in Tividale which provides nursing care, Macmillan Cancer Support attended the care home
Colleagues at Warrens Hall wanted to give a big thank you Macmillan Cancer support. Nurses have touched many hearts at Warrens Hall and their hard work is very much appreciated by everybody at the care home. Catherine, a Resident of Warrens Hall, expressed to the staff how close to her heart the charity was, which lead the Wellbeing Coordinators to make sure she was invited to sell some cakes which helped to raise vital funds and also raise awareness for the cause.
Catherine said she had a lovely morning at this fund raiser, she went on to say, “I’ve enjoyed my morning very much, I was so grateful to be asked and get involved”. She also enjoyed spending time together with the nurses, listening to music and of course, enjoying some tea and cakes!
The fund raising was quite the success, by raising £100 for the charity. Fabiana, the Home Manager expressed how pleased she was for everybody and said, “Wow, congratulations on doing so well for this amazing charity, it was lovely to see Catherine enjoying herself”.
