Manchester care home Resident enjoys relaxing birthday celebrationsA Resident has enjoyed a lovely relaxing day for his birthday this year at HC-One’s Carrington Court care home in Hindley, Wigan.

Danny isn’t one to make a big deal out of his birthday, however he still enjoyed a day being the centre of attention as Colleagues and his fellow Residents made a fuss over him on his special day.

Colleagues organised a little party for Danny with his favourite music, lovely presents and plenty of cake and drinks.

Danny commented: “You didn’t have to do this for me but thank you so much.”

Danny has a huge interest in animals and nature so was thrilled when he was presented with an incredible monkey birthday cake and plenty of animal-themed birthday cards.

Colleagues took photos and sang to Danny as he posed with his monkey cake. They even decorated the room and got Danny his very own ‘Birthday Boy’ badge and party hat.

Despite lockdown meaning that Danny had a quiet birthday, he enjoyed his wonderful unexpected party as he celebrated with Colleagues and his fellow Residents at Carrington Court.
