At Aston House care home, in Hayes, they held the annual Residents Christmas Party today.
The decorations in the care home brought joy to Residents with lightings all around, Christmas trees, stockings, banners and colourful, festive hanging decorations.
Residents could send their letters to Santa via a special post-box, which was displayed in the home.
Both Colleagues and Residents enjoyed dancing the afternoon away, as well as a delicious buffet with mulled wine and homemade mince pies, followed by cheese and crackers.
Everyone enjoyed the Christmas carols and sing-along. Christmas gifts were handed out to Residents by Santa, and Residents were surprised and delighted to receive their presents.
“We understand that the festive period can be tinged with sadness of missing loved ones, so we did our best to create the home-away-from-home experience,” explained one Colleague.
Overall, there was a fantastic Christmas party vibe, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
Alice, who is a Resident at Aston House, commented, "The homemade traditional Christmas menu evoked so many memories of the past, happy times."
Home Manager, Seema Sandeep-Jose, remarked, "At least we can celebrate together after a difficult year, and bring some festive cheer to the Residents!"
