Midlands home sets up in-house Market PlaceThis afternoon, a Colleague at Roxburgh House care home, in Cradley Heath, West Midlands, brought in some brand-new clothes that belonged to a family member who recently passed away.

Denise, who works at Roxburgh, set up a market stall style table in the lounge and invited Residents to come and have a look to see if there was anything they would like. Residents really enjoyed looking through the items and were over the moon and the clothes. Some wanted to pay for the clothes however Denise insisted these items were free, much to Residents delight!

Denise commented, “Something so simple can really bring delight to Residents’ faces. And as we are under restrictions in the UK, why not bring the marketplace to us? Which is exactly what we did.”
