It’s been a birthday bonanza at HC-One’s Melbury Court care home in Durham as Wellbeing Coordinator, Jacky Kitchen and Resident, Lucy O’Shaughnessy both celebrated milestone birthdays.
To celebrate Jacky turning sixty, her Colleagues arranged some special birthday gifts and a delicious cake. Jacky was presented with her gifts and everyone gave their best wishes, she was very appreciative of the effort and kindly shared out her birthday cake.
Jacky commented: “It was so nice of the team to surprise me with gifts and cake. It makes me feel valued, I’m delighted.”
Lucy celebrated her eightieth birthday on Saturday 3rd July, team members at Melbury Court presented her with a big balloon, a cake and a personalised gift. She was delighted with her birthday celebrations and said: “I love being here at Melbury Court, the staff treat me so well. I had a wonderful day and loved my treats.”
