A mobile zoo came to
Bereweeke Court care home, in Winchester, to show Residents some reptiles and spiders.
Residents of the 39-bed residential, nursing and dementia care home enjoyed holding snakes and tarantulas and learning about the animals. They agreed that the activity was, “really fun”.
The snake, in particular, was a hit as it slithered across the carpet!
One of the more courageous Residents said, “I enjoyed holding the snake.”
Donna Mobey, Care Home Manager, remarked, “The Residents were braver than I was!”
