Miskin Care Home Keeps Residents Refreshed with Hydration Day During Summer Heatwave
As part of their proactive approach to resident wellbeing during the current heatwave, HC-One Wales’s Aberpennar Court Care Home in Miskin, Mountain Ash, hosted a special Hydration Day as part of a week of hydration related activities.
To kick things off, the care team organised a colourful and creative Mocktail Morning, giving residents a fun and tasty way to stay cool and hydrated. The team blended a delicious mix of summer fruits, including strawberries, pineapple, and mango, combined with refreshing fruit juices and a touch of elderflower cordial.
Each drink was beautifully presented with cocktail umbrellas and decorative accessories, creating a cheerful, summery atmosphere throughout the home. Residents had the opportunity to taste a variety of mocktails and enjoy a relaxed, sociable morning with friends and colleagues.
