Monster mash Halloween celebrations at Pennwood LodgeResidents at Pennwood Lodge residential and nursing memory care home, in Kingswood, celebrated Halloween recently.

Activities included making spooky decorations and watching the staff carve pumpkins. There was a monster mash coffee morning where both Residents and Colleagues exercised to spooky music.

Pauline Diamond and Shelia Edwards learnt how to do the time warp dance which seem to amuse everyone else.

Shelia said, “It’s a little bit of fun and it was nice to be to be involved and to see some new faces taking part.”

They then had a game of spooky bingo and a spooky visit from entertainers ‘Mindsong’ where everyone enjoyed a sing along, followed by some lovely spooky cakes made by Chef Carl.

Sarah Daly, Home Manager, commented, “We had a great Halloween at Pennwood Lodge and lots of our Residents joined in.”
