Mossley Residents create artwork for the homeA few of the Residents at HC-One’s Sandon House residential and residential memory care home, in Manchester, enjoyed an afternoon experimenting with paints, to create some wonderful artwork for the home.

Those involved used only their hands to mix the colours together and used their fingertips to create flowers in a garden on one of the paintings. They also used one technique which was to let the paint drip down and another technique was to just swirl the paint around.

Everyone commented on how stunning the new pieces look on the wall.

Resident, Madge said, “They look really good up on the wall.”

Wellbeing Coordinator, Louise, commented, “Sandon House really do have some great artists! It was interesting how the Residents used their imagination throughout."
