MP Douglas McAllister Compliments Beautifully Refurbished Home and Highlights Excellence in Care atOn Friday 5 December 2025, Douglas McAllister MP for West Dunbartonshire paid a special visit to HC-One Scotland’s Castle View Care Home in Dumbarton, highlighting the home’s dedication to high-quality care and its vibrant, welcoming community.
 
During his visit, the MP toured Castle View’s state-of-the-art facilities, which include a cinema, hair salon, nail bar, ensuite bedrooms, a quiet room, and landscaped gardens. He spoke with residents and colleagues, gaining insight into the home’s personalised approach to care and the wide range of engaging activities that enrich daily life for those living at the 60-bed nursing and nursing dementia care home.
 
The visit also provided an opportunity to acknowledge the commitment and professionalism of Castle View’s care team and the meaningful connections that make the home an integral part of the local community.
