Residents and Colleagues at Drummohr came together at the start of October to celebrate one resident in particular, who was celebrating her 21st birthday for the second time.
Morag Denham celebrated her youth and special day with Residents from both floors of Drummohr with an interactive bingo session which really got everyone’s competitive juices flowing.
There were lots of great prizes to be won throughout the course of the night which added a real buzz of excitement around the home.
Care Home Manager, Mirelle Fyvie said: “I had a fantastic time with all of the residents celebrating Morag’s birthday. It’s always a lovely time when someone has a birthday, and the atmosphere was great.”
She continued: “Morag had a great day and evening, and enjoyed playing a game that got everyone from around our home involved, but to be honest I think her favourite part was a good slice of cake!”
The Residents commented on how much they enjoyed evening, thanking each other for the fun and good times that were had and thought it was a great idea to combine a birthday celebration with something fun like bingo.
Morag is looking forward to celebrating her 22nd birthday with the same energy and atmosphere next year!
