Residents at HC-One’s The Cambridge care home in Cambridge enjoyed their favourite frozen treats for National Ice Cream Day.
The team prepared a selection of ice creams and placed them in the cart which was handmade by the home’s Maintenance Operative. The cart was then pushed around the home for Residents to select their favourite flavours and toppings.
A great time was had by all, Residents commented that the ice cream cart brought back happy memories of their childhood.
The Cambridge Home Manager, Donna Mobey said: "I am pleased that everyone enjoyed their ice creams, the smiles on their faces really said it all.”
