On 6th January, it was a day of fun for Residents at
Hyde nursing and nursing memory care home, on Tameside.
The day started off with a musical morning, featuring Dolly Parton and the Bee Gees being the go-to artists. Residents involved were loving the morning dance as a bit of a wake and shake.
Dot, who lives at the home, commented on Dolly, “She's never changed!
Following, in the afternoon, was a pampering and ‘sharing a joke’ session, which the Residents and Colleagues, including Salema Khatun and Ellen Ashton, loved. Myra who doesn’t usually join in, decided to today and had a right good laugh!
Salema commented, “It's fun to be able to have a laugh with the Residents.”
Everyone loved having their hair and nails done while sharing a good laugh!
Wellbeing Coordinator Adam Perkins remarked, “Overall today at Hyde has been amazing for staff and Residents!”
