Today at Holmwood nursing and residential memory care home, in Sheffield, Colleagues and Residents took part in a beach themed day for Dementia Awareness Week.
Residents assisted with decorating the home and enjoyed some fish and chips for dinner, followed by a delicious ice-cream which was brought round on a trolley (see pictured).
Seaside music was played in the background while games were played. Many Residents commented that they would love to have a repeat of the day.
