HC-One’s Rivendell View Care Home, in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, is thrilled to announce a collaborative drop-in session with Home Instead, a leading provider of home care, to support individuals and families exploring care options in celebration of Dementia Action Week (May 19 to 25).
This event, taking place on Thursday, May 22, from 11am to 1pm at Rivendell View Care Home, aims to empower the community with knowledge and resources to navigate their care journeys. The partnership, which took shape in December 2024, brings together two organisations dedicated to enhancing the lives of those needing care.
The drop-in session is designed to help attendees understand their care options, particularly for those self-funding or unsure where to begin. Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss key topics, including the differences between home care and care homes, and navigating care finances and funding options.
They will also talk over planning a care journey that suits individual circumstances and support for carers needing respite or flexible solutions. Colleagues from both Rivendell View and Home Instead will be on-hand to answer questions, address concerns, and provide guidance on next steps.

Rivendell View Care Home also invites the public to its sponsored coffee morning on Friday, May 23, from 11am to 12pm, raising funds and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Society during Dementia Action Week. Rivendell View’s regular Friday coffee mornings, open to all, further welcome the community to connect.
