Nottingham Residents pay respect to Queen Elizabeth IIThis week at Silverwood care home in Nottingham, which provides residential, nursing and dementia care, Residents have paid their respects to HM Queen Elizabeth II during the funeral service.
 
Everybody came together in the living room where The Queens service was projected so everyone could pay their own respects. Residents enjoyed the service and all shared their own memories of The Queen and through the many years of her reign.
 
It was quite an emotional day overall, but Residents were thankful for her service. One Resident went on to say, “She was such a lovely women and has been through so much”.
 
Debra, the Home Manager went on to say, “It was nice to see all the Residents in West Lodge coming together to pay their respects”.
