Residents at HC-One’s
Dingle Meadow care home in Oldbury enjoyed a trip round the culinary world as they tasted a wide range of tasty cheese and sipped on some rich wine.
On Wednesday 19th May, Residents who live on the Grace and Symphony units at Dingle Meadow were invited to take part in a wine and cheese tasting afternoon.
The wonderful kitchen team at Dingle Meadow prepared a top class and wide-ranging selection of the world’s best wines and cheese for Residents to try.
Residents gathered in the homes dining area, on some lovely decorated tables and started the session. Every Residents really got involved, trying many different types of the food on offer.
Some Residents commented on how they would love to this activity again in the future, as many of them hadn’t tasted cheese such as stilton or brie for a while and the loved to reminisce about it.
Located in a peaceful residential area in Oldbury, in the heart of the Black Country, Dingle Meadow is a purpose-built care home with 46 beds, offering residential and residential dementia care.
