Oldham care home Resident enjoys festive visit to garden centre

Avalon Park care home in Oldham took a new Resident to the local garden centre for a festive shopping trip to help her settle into life at the home. 

Joan began her outing with a delicious serving of soup and coffee, before searching the store for some of her favourite candles and handbags. 

After taking a look at the clothing department, Joan moved on to the Christmas decorations, which she was very impressed with. 

Joan said: “I had a fabulous time, there was so much to choose from!”

Following the success of this visit, Joan is already looking forward to embarking on the home’s next trip.
