Outdoor exercise classes are a breath of fresh air for Wigan ResidentsResidents are happy to see a bit of sunshine and have begun embracing the warmer weather at HC-One’s Rosebridge Court care home in Hindley, Manchester.

They have been taking part in outdoor exercise classes in the garden area to enjoy a bit of fresh air. Residents can join in and drop out as they choose, although everyone makes a good effort to take part and they have plenty of fun in the process.

One Resident commented: “The exercises are healthy and they’re really good fun as well.”

After a work out in the garden, Residents took part in an afternoon of games and puzzles to flex their brain muscles as well. Some Residents requested word searches or crossword puzzles while others enjoyed dot-to-dots or colouring in.

Residents were encouraged to take part in the two activities to help promote a healthy lifestyle and to keep the body and mind active.

Rosebridge Court Home Manager, Cheryl Little, said: “What a joy to behold watching our lovely Residents getting fit for summer and the end of lockdown.”
