Paul and David take a trip to the local pubDavid and Paul, Residents at HC-One’s Needham Court, residential and residential memory care home, in Jarrow, enjoyed a trip to the local pub.

Carer Christine and Wellbeing Coordinator Lisa took Residents Dave and Paul out for the afternoon. They took a trip down to the local pub for a pub lunch, game of darts and pool.

Paul enjoyed an old-fashioned gammon steak with fried egg, whilst David decided to have a steak and ale pie washed down with a pint of larger.
Christine and Lisa enjoyed hunters’ chicken and an ice-cold coke.

After their meal, everyone played a game of pool, boys vs girls, and Paul won the game of darts.

They really enjoyed being out at the pub and seeing other people enjoying themselves.

Paul, said, “I loved playing pool, it was such a nice afternoon.”

Care Home Manager, Joann Mills, added, “You ladies let the side down by not beating the boys at pool or darts.”
