Pilates afternoon at Honiton care home

Residents at HC-One’s Gittisham Hill House enjoyed an afternoon of exercise when a representative from the local Pilates Me Right, visited the home.

Rachel from Pilates Me Right attended the home and was instantly a favourite for the Residents. An afternoon of laughter and exercise was had by all as Residents took part in a variety of exercises, learning new stretches and moves.

The home were delighted as Rachel has agreed to attend the home again in a few weeks, to continue the excitement.

 Marita Westaway, home manager, commented: “Pilates is a new activity for Residents, and they have fully enjoyed themselves. It’s been wonderful to see everyone so happy and engaged with one another as they’ve taken part in this.”
