Posters sent from local school children to Ashton-Under-Lyne care home

Residents and Colleagues at HC One’s Hurst Hall care home were delighted to receive posters and cards from the local community.

Before the pandemic the Ashton-Under-Lyne care home used to have regular visits from children from the local primary school and Tameside youth club.

Residents have missed seeing the children so it was a lovely surprise to receive some posters that the school children had created, and a lovely card from the youth club. 

One Resident said “It was lovely to see how much work the children had put in.  The card brought a tear to my eye with the words.” 

The home manager commented “It is heart-warming to know that our community does think about all our residents during these times which are very hard.”
