Poulton-le-Fylde care home Resident celebrates 90th birthday

Today Resident Mary Bradshaw at Bankhouse care home, in Lancashire, enjoyed a birthday bash to remember!

Care Assistants Ruth and Parr decorated the lounge for Mary’s 90th and displayed birthday banners. Members of the team gathered to sing happy birthday and a special cake was prepared too.

The home arranged with Mary’s family to do a group video call at 3:00pm, much to Mary, and her daughter Liz’s delight. 

The family were sent videos and photos of the event via email and the home has made a photo collage for Mary`s room of the day.

Home Manager, Janet Barnes, commented, “Staff had decorated the lounge with banners and gifts for Mary to celebrate her birthday, it looked very special.”
