With the sad news of the Queen's passing,
Aberpennar Court care home, in Mountain Ash, held a morning of memories for Residents.
Residents at the 47-bed residential and nursing care home shared their memories of the Queen.
As part of the day, a group of Residents and Colleagues designed a sympathy card which was then sent to King Charles, and another to the Prince and Princess of Wales.
On the day of the state funeral, Residents come to the pool room at the home where they watched the funeral on television together. They also gave a toast to the Queen and reminisced together.
Leanne Gunter, Care Home Manager, said, “It as a lovely service held in memory of the Queen and Residents said it was a nice way to remember.”
