Remembrance service at Fosse Way ViewThis month at Fosse Way View in Bingham, which provides residential care, Residents have taken part in a memorial service and also enjoyed a live show in the garden.

Fosse Way View’s Residents and Colleagues have been commemorating Remembrance Day with their own memorial service. Louise and Francis, the Home Administrator and Wellbeing Coordinator made a fantastic memorial for outside.

After the memorial service, Residents gathered in the bar area for a special show from Razzle Dazzle performer Claire. She setup in the garden and Residents watched from the bar area, she sang songs from the 1940’s, 50’s and 60’s. All of the Residents loved Claire’s performance and were up singing and dancing along with her, they all thoroughly enjoy the show.

After this Residents enjoyed a nice hot chocolate and baileys whilst the other show went on. Residents had a wonderful time, one Resident said “I was really moved by the memorial that the staff had made, the show was fantastic as well!

Liz, the Home Manager said, “It was great to see all of our Residents involved with this lovely event, there was a great sense of community”.
