Residents at
Cold Springs Park, residential and residential memory care home, in Penrith have celebrated Remembrance Sunday.
Residents have done many crafts. They have knitted, drawn and pained poppies.
Staff and Residents held a service and had discussions about their personal memories.
Afternoon tea was served with fresh cream and scones.
One Resident, said, “I liked how I was able to show my respects. I liked the nice activities and the afternoon tea for Remembrance Day.
Jacqueline Johnstone, Care Home Manager, commented, “Residents really appreciated having a Remembrance Service and Residents were happy to share their memories to the staff.”
