Resident celebrates 71st birthday at Widnes care home

Cheshire care home, Ferndale Court, had a Resident celebrating a special birthday today with Jean King turning 71; Colleagues went that little step further to make a fuss. 

Irena Ivanova and Lisa Doyle, who both work at Ferndale Court, helped to organise a special celebration with decorations, balloons, presents and of course a sing-song. 

Everyone loves birthday celebrations at Ferndale, Colleagues lit the candles on her birthday cake and sang happy birthday to her. Jean received lots of presents and cards. It was such a nice celebration and good to have everyone else in the home join in.  

She had a lovely birthday spending time and was showered with presents and cards. Jean remarked, “I had a wonderful day and I was totally spoilt.”

Home Manager, Iqbal Sidhu, commented, “It was lovely to see Jean so happy on her birthday!”
