Resident rediscovers passion for knitting at Northumberland care homeLinda Tarron, a Resident at HC-One’s Ashington Grange care home in Ashington, Northumberland has recently rediscovered her passion for knitting.

In her younger days, Linda was a keen knitter who used to make blankets for the children of Chernobyl. Years later Linda has got back in to knitting and has been spending her time knitting blankets for the homeless and even made some beautiful beaded bracelets for the team at Ashington Grange.

Linda has also made some bracelets which has been selling and donating the money to the Resident’s Comfort Fund. 

Ashington Grange Home Manager said: “It is so lovely that Linda has rediscovered her hobby and is using it to help others, she is such a kind and caring person.”
