Residents at April Park enjoy cheese tasting afternoon

Cheese tasting was a success at April Park care home in Eckington as Residents enjoyed an afternoon of socialising with family and friends.

Among the cheeses on offer was a garlic and herb mini roule, oak smoked cheddar and white stilton, which were served with a selection of tasty crackers.

The afternoon went down a treat with Residents and their loved ones, who commented that they can’t wait for next week to try something different.

Gail Wardle, Home Manager at April Park, said: “All the Residents loved the cheese tasting afternoon. It’s great for them to be able to try new things.”
