Residents at Charters Court Care Home in East Grinstead enjoyed a fun and creative morning recently as they came together to make colourful Easter chick pom-poms.
The activity brought plenty of smiles and laughter as residents painted the bodies of their chicks before choosing from a wide selection of craft materials to decorate them. Colourful feathers, pipe cleaners, craft balls and googly eyes were all on hand, giving everyone the chance to design their own unique Easter creation.
The craft session sparked creativity and conversation among residents, who thoroughly enjoyed getting involved in the hands-on activity and sharing ideas with one another. The finished chicks were bright, cheerful and full of personality, reflecting the imagination and effort of everyone who took part.
Activities like these play an important role in bringing residents together, encouraging creativity and celebrating seasonal moments throughout the year.
