Residents at Cold Springs Park receive a lovely donationResidents at Cold Springs Park, residential and residential dementia care home in Penrith, received a lovely donation from a local volunteer.

Rosie Fielder is a regular volunteer who loves coming along to Cold Springs Park and spending time with the lovely Residents.

Crafting is a hobby of Rosie’s and she had very kindly made some lovely twiddle cushions for the Residents who are living with dementia.

The cushions are made up of brightly colours fiddley items, and they can be used to keep Residents focused on an activity or to relax.

All the Residents have enjoyed having the cushions on their laps whilst relaxing and they are so thankful for the lovely gesture.

Jacqueline Johnstone, Care Home Manager, remarked, “Thank you Rosie for the lovely gift to our Residents, they love the twiddle cushions.”
