Residents at Peniel Green Care Home in Llansamlet, Swansea, were treated to a lively musical session during the second visit from local entertainer Golden Grooves, Sarah Mulligan. Known for her bubbly personality and infectious energy, Sarah had the residents singing, dancing, and waving brightly coloured scarves throughout the hour-long session.
The music, featuring familiar oldies, encouraged participation from all, whether dancing on their feet or moving their arms and legs from their chairs. The joy and engagement were clear, with residents smiling and singing along for the entire session.
Lisa Sullivan, Senior Wellbeing Coordinator, said:
"Sarah is such an infectious person with a fantastic energy and bubbly personality. The residents love her and actively participate when she is here – it’s lovely to see them smiling and enjoying themselves."
Golden Grooves will now be a regular visitor at Peniel Green, bringing fun, music, and movement to brighten the lives of residents.
