
HC-One’s Godden Lodge Care Home in Thundersley, Benfleet, Essex, was visited on Friday 27th June by MP for Castle Point & Opposition Chief Whip (Commons), Dame Rebecca Harris.
Residents and colleagues of the HC-One owned care home enjoyed meeting their MP, Dame Rebecca Harris, and chatting to her about what life is like at Godden Lodge Care Home – which is an integral part of the local Thundersley community.
MP Dame Rebecca Harris enjoyed a tour round the 123 bedded residential, nursing, nursing dementia and residential dementia care home, including the hair salon, nail bar, lounge and ensuite and premier bedrooms.
MP Dame Rebecca Harris was shown the home’s ‘These Hand’s’ dementia project display that the team at the home had created. In addition, Godden Lodge supported Armed Forces Day on Friday and shared their artwork with MP Dame Rebecca Harris and enjoyed a BBQ with singers from the D Day dollies in the afternoon.
