Residents had a lovely day, with Colleagues from BT crafting and having fun at
St Peters Court care home in Redcar.
It was a fabulous day crafting, singing, getting manicures, and playing bingo alongside some of the Colleagues from BT who help to run the BT Companionship Programme.
All Residents were invited to join in the fun and those who did had a lovely time. Beverly who works at BT planned a fantastic day for all the Residents. They made Christmas cards and decorations, sang Christmas songs both morning and afternoon. The some of the ladies had manicures ready for Christmas.
Bingo was played in the afternoon with three Residents were very lucky winning 2 prizes each. Some of the Residents shouted, “Arthur is cheating, how can he win twice!”
There were lots of happy smiling faces, and the Residents really enjoyed chatting to new people.
Colleagues from BT put up the remainder of our Christmas decorations and the home looks very festive.
Jamie Stephenson, Care Home Manager, commented, “It was so lovely of BT to give up their time to come in and spend the day with us. The Residents always love crafting, so the day went down well.”
