Residents at HC-One’s The Birches care home in Crieff, Scotland recently enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea with friends and Colleagues.
Colleagues and Residents all gathered together in The Birches cosy dining area to enjoy a socially distanced afternoon tea on 11th September, who would normally be joined by Relatives, but because of coronavirus restrictions, Residents and Colleagues had to enjoy it together.
Many Birches Residents commented on how they enjoyed the large selection of cakes and the choice available to them and how the cakes and sandwiches were presented so beautifully.
One The Birches Resident said: “That was lovely, I simply couldn’t eat any more.”
Afternoon fun is always a great opportunity for Residents and Colleagues to get together, enjoy some tasty food and hot drinks and socialise with each, so there will be many more to look forward to in the future.
The Birches Home Manager said: “It was really fun to have another afternoon tea, we used to do them so often, it’s good to see them back on popular demand.”
