Residents enjoy gardening club at Sunderland care homeThe gardening club at HC-One’s Ashbourne Lodge care home in Ashbrooke, Sunderland has sprung back in to action to prepare the home’s grounds for the summer months.

Green fingered Residents at Ashbourne Lodge have been enjoying regular garden club meetings where they are busy planting new flowers and tending to the gardens. Everyone enjoys sharing stories and gardening tips, Residents always enjoy a nice refreshing drink and a biscuit after their hard work.

One Resident commented: “The garden is looking great, I am looking forward to the summer where we can enjoy some more sunshine.”

Ashbourne Lodge Home Manager, Punam Randhawa said: “Well done to our gardening club, the garden is going to be beautiful for summer this year.”
