Residents Get Creative For Mother’s Day at Adelaide House Care HomeResidents and staff at Adelaide House Care Home in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, got into the spirit of Mother’s Day with a heartwarming afternoon of creativity and celebration.

The home recently hosted a special card-making activity where residents and team members came together to design personalised Mother’s Day cards. The session was filled with laughter, creativity and conversation as residents carefully decorated each card with colourful designs and thoughtful messages.

Each card was lovingly crafted in preparation for the home’s upcoming Mother’s Day celebrations, which will honour the many mothers, grandmothers and mother figures who are part of the Adelaide House community.

Activities like these provide residents with a chance to express themselves creatively while also bringing people together. The card-making afternoon created a warm and joyful atmosphere throughout the home, with residents sharing memories of Mother’s Days past while preparing for the celebrations ahead.

Lola Olanrewaju, Adelaide House’s Home Manager said:
“Mother’s Day is a wonderful opportunity for us to celebrate the incredible women who have played such important roles in families and communities. Our residents had a fantastic time creating their own cards, and it was lovely to see everyone enjoying the afternoon together.”
