Residents have enjoyed making cakes almost as much as they’ve enjoyed eating them this Valentine’s Day at HC-One’s Altham Court care home in Lincoln, Lincolnshire.
Everyone got busy to work in the kitchen area making chocolate rice crispy and cornflake cakes.
One Resident commented: “These are yummy! Can we have them every day?”
They also made a batch of delectable chocolate-covered strawberries. Residents waited very impatiently for the melted chocolate to cool before eventually tucking in to their delicious homemade sweet treats.
Altham Court Home Manager, Anna Livsey, said: “Our Residents thoroughly enjoy baking and getting involved in the kitchen. Today was certainly no exception!”
