
Residents at Capwell Grange Care Home in Luton, Bedfordshire, have been getting into the Valentine’s spirit with a heart-warming craft session designed to spread joy throughout the home.
Residents took part in a crafty coffee and tea morning, coming together to create handmade Valentine’s cards for fellow residents living in other units at Capwell Grange. Armed with card, pens, stickers and plenty of imagination, the group produced a range of colourful and thoughtful designs.
The session proved to be a big hit, with residents showing great creativity while enjoying a relaxed and sociable morning over hot drinks. As well as giving residents the chance to express themselves artistically, the activity helped strengthen connections across the home and ensured everyone felt included in the Valentine’s celebrations.

“It was lovely to see our residents enjoying themselves and putting so much care into making cards for others in the home. Staff said residents took great pride in knowing their handmade cards would bring smiles to others around the home.
