Love is in the air this Valentine’s Day as the Residents of HC-One’s Silverwood care home in Beeston, Nottinghamshire make special cards for their loved ones.
The crafts session brought about a lot of reminiscing as Residents thought about their loved ones and how much they miss them. Even lockdown couldn’t stop the Residents from swapping their fondest memories of their partners and families.
After a morning of crafts, everyone enjoyed a socially distanced celebration with plenty of romantic music, sweet treats and even a glass or two of prosecco. Kitchen Colleague, Paige, baked lots of Valentine’s cakes and biscuits which went down a treat with Residents.
One Resident commented: “It’s been a really lovely day. The music is good too.”
For one couple at Silverwood, the day was very special. Mr and Mrs Fowler live at the home together and were able to enjoy a romantic day with one another this Valentine’s Day.
