Residents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Roby Lodge care home in Huyton, Liverpool have now had their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
The home is now one step closer to returning to some normality and Residents are looking forward to eventually being reunited with their families when the government gives the go-ahead.
Jean Hynes, a Resident at the home, commented: “It’s great after hearing so much on the news that it’s finally our turn to get the vaccine. Let’s see the back of Covid-19!”
The vaccination is currently being rolled out to Residents and Colleagues in care homes under guidance from the Department of Health.
Many Residents felt very privileged to receive the vaccine and are excited once again about what the near future could hold.
