Rosette making for Prince Phillip at Clarendon HallIn preparation of Prince Philips funeral on Saturday, Residents at residential and nursing care home, Clarendon Hall, created beautiful ribbon rosettes, featuring a picture of the beloved Prince on each one, ready for them all to wear with pride.

Residents are planning to remember and celebrate the life of Prince Philip, wearing their homemade rosettes. Hayley, on the wellbeing team, set up a busy afternoon crafting. With each rosette coming with instructions and then step-by-step they all had a go at creating their own masterpiece. Everyone liked taking a moment to remember royal events in days gone by, whilst keeping their hands busy doing the ribbons.

Residents, including pictured Violet, Betty and Terry, enjoyed wearing their rosette with pride, when they had finished.

“What a lovely way to remember a lovely man,” commented Ann H, who lives at Clarendon Hall.

Stephanie, on the admin team, remarked, “You all look very organised, and should be proud you are creating something really special."
