HC-One’s Mountview Care Home, in Rothley, Leicestershire, turned back the clock and brought the lively spirit of bar life to its residents with a dazzling celebration of World Cocktail Day (Tuesday, May 13).
Transforming part of its garden into an exotic pop-up bar, the home created a festive atmosphere filled with classic and creative mocktail with fresh fruit mixers and plenty of cheer. Mountview resident’s dove into the fun, with some rolling up their sleeves to mix their own mocktails using fresh fruits, while others savoured their favourite tipples.
The event sparked a wave of nostalgia, laughter, and storytelling, as residents shared memories over clinking glasses. From timeless classics to inventive new blends, the pop-up bar was a hit, creating a joyful buzz that resonated throughout the day.
