Salem care home’s music mayhem

Residents at Avalon Park residential and residential memory care home, in Oldham, took part in a sing-along today. 

Bernadette, who is a Resident at the home, requested a big song off between staff and Residents after being inspired by ‘The Masked Singer’ television show.

Colleagues and Resident did duel karaoke songs and sang to each other whilst having a great time! Bernadette herself sang ‘Livin’ on a Prayer’ by Bon Jovi because it’s her favourite song. Fellow Resident Archie sang ‘No Woman No Cry.

Sue Jones, Care Home Manager, remarked, “What a successful day, especially when the Residents have asked for more of the same events in the future.”
