Lynn who is a Resident at HC-One’s
Harnham Croft care home, in Salisbury, has had a very exciting week as she utilised technology and had a video call with her grandson all the way from Norway who had gone away to get married.
The video call had been arranged by Colleagues and Relatives, once Lynn’s grandson had got married, so that Lynn could raise a glass of prosecco and congratulate her grandson and his new wife on their marriage.
Lynn's friend Sheila (pictured) who she has known for years, was with Lynn for the video call to celebrate with her.
Lynn said, “It was such a lovely call, and the bride looked absolutely gorgeous, and my grandson was ready with the umbrella as it was snowing!”
Colleagues commented that, even though she was unable to attend herself, it was wonderful Lynn she could still speak to her grandson and see everything that was going on.
