Sheffield care home Colleague celebrates 75th birthday

One of Ascot Lodge’s beloved colleagues Dorothy Cooke celebrated her 75th birthday this month.

Dorothy joined HC-One back in 2018 as a Kitchen Assistant and has been a valued member of staff for the past 7 years. On 23rd February, to help her celebrate her birthday, Ascot Lodge Chef, Dale Moore presented Dorothy with a big bouquet of flowers and a card while Residents and Staff all sang happy birthday.

The cake turned out to be what was a lovely surprise for Dot and she doesn't intend to retire any time soon.

“It was lovely to see Dot enjoying her flowers for her big day,” said Dale Moore.
