Sheffield Residents pay respects on Remembrance DayResidents at Eckington care home, April Park, which provides residential care have been paying their respects for Remembrance Day.

Even from the summer of this year, Residents had been making their poppies for the 11th of November. They had painted poppies and some others had been making them the week before.

Residents wanted to do something slightly different this year, so they came up with a Remembrance Tree, which had red poppies on it and purple poppies at the bottom to remember the animals they had lost.

One Resident said, “The tree was such a lovely idea” and many others also agreed.

Lisa, Home Manager at April Park said, “It was so lovely seeing all of the Residents pay their respect this year. They are really thoughtful with their messages”.
