January has started off rather musical for Residents at
Aberpennar Court care home, in Miskin, Mountain Ash, with two days of singing entertainment!
As a tribute to what would have been Elvis’s 88th birthday on January 8th, the home’s fabulous singing entertainer Craig, dressed as Elvis in his Army GI Blues Uniform. He sang a wide range of Elvis songs, which all Residents really enjoyed!
Those involved sang along with the songs and joked that they were ‘all shook up’ meeting Elvis!
Following on, on 9th January another entertainer, Richard, visited the 47-bed residential and nursing care home and sang a fantastic range of songs by the composer and songwriter, Cole Porter, as well as country music and songs from the musicals.
Everyone sang along and said they really enjoyed the show, many commenting that he was a ‘fabulous’ singer.
