Recently, both Residents and Colleagues at
Quayside, nursing and nursing dementia care home, in Yoker, Glasgow, were thrilled to welcome SKY Colleagues into their home.
As part of the ‘SKY CARES’ initiative a team of local SKY engineers came long to Quayside to help out with some odd jobs that needed doing. Alongside the Wellbeing Team and the Residents, the engineers from SKY got to work on some jobs that needed to be done.
The team pressure washed the decking area and garden furniture, painted the inside of the summer house and spruced up the commemorative anchor.
Despite the rain, the team including Ryan McDade, Steven Clay, Danielle Talbot, Scott Ferguson, Thomas Cunningham and their manager Scott McRobbie got stuck into the jobs and whilst chatting with the Residents and Colleagues throughout the day.
Anne McDade, Wellbeing Coordinator, said, “Thank you Scott and the team! We are all really looking forward to using the deck and summerhouse more now it has been spruced up.”
