Residents at HC-One’s
Snapethorpe Hall, residential and nursing care home, in Wakefield have recently celebrated a special anniversary.
As in the month of November HC-One turns 10, Residents at Snapethorpe Hall wanted to celebrate in style. The Residents enjoyed an afternoon tea for the birthday celebrations, with a beautiful cake made and decorated to show the anniversary.
The catering team, Sam and Jess, made a chocolate layer cake which went down a treat with the Residents.
Many of the team have been at HC-One since the beginning and shared the journey with some nice stories from the staff and Residents.
A Colleague, commented, “It is lovely to look back and remember with the Residents.”
A Resident, said, “It is good to know how long some of the team have been here, gives you confidence.”
Care Home Manager, John Cairnes, added, “Afternoon teas are always popular here at Snapethorpe Hall, more so for a special birthday.”
